SXSW 2014 Lineup Austin


SXSW 2014 Austin is going to be the buzz of Texas and largest per capita of musicians and music lovers on the planet. The stage will be set where big name talent and those we haven’t discovered yet rub shoulders, all while rising stars find their moment to shine and are propelled to a sky full of opportunities.


Coming Mar 07 – 16 2014,  loyal visitors will have a selection from a variety of styles and genres of music. Musicians from all over the world return to the homeland of live music yearly reunion of this music lover’s gathering called South by Southwest.


The Austin convention center is the heart of the ten day South by Southwest event.  Some of the best known names in the respective industries are likely to make their presence felt.  Live music by popular musicians like Keith Urban, Coldplay, Sound Garden and many more are likely to perform for the audience. SXSW 2014 Lineup Austin has a confirmed performance and live gigs by famous musicians like Slash, Sound Garden, Pitbull, Kendrick Lamar to name a few. It is also being rumored from unconfirmed sources the Lady Gaga might also be part of the festival.


Close to 2200 bands have already registered and many more are in the process of registering so as to showcase their performance. Musicians of different genre gather and perform in front of a vibrant audience. Hundreds of interactive music and film sessions are likely to take place and south by southwest is famous for its unique spirit of performances by different styles of music.


Live music performances are planned at vital places around the convention center which is not only conveniently located for the visitors but also at a walking distance. One of the main attraction of the festival is the Live performance with the theme ‘A Jimmy Hendrix Celebration’ which is scheduled to be held on 13 Mar 14 on an outdoor stage at Butler Park. A tribute to the music legend will also feature performances by Vintage Trouble, Slash, The Doors, Los Lonely Boys and Rusty Anderson.
